Attracted to contemporary art from an early age, particularly abstract painting, I first worked in a gallery before devoting myself fully to creating art. In 2000, I decided to pick up spatulas and brushes to express my own vision of abstraction, somewhere between lyricism and graphic design.
My painting is built around gesture, texture and colour. Bright hues, thick textures and sweeping movements compose an expressive universe in constant evolution. Each canvas is an exploration, a dialogue between raw energy and visual balance.
I divide my time between Grenoble, where my studio is located, Paris and the Vercors.
Among the artists who inspire me are Wang Yan Cheng, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Vassily Kandinsky. These are all perspectives that feed into my practice, between abstraction, figuration and graphic tension.
